เด็กสาวมัธยมปลาย ชื่อ ฮิราซาว่า ยุย ยังไม่รู้จะเข้าชมรมไหนดี ในขณะที่ ริทสึ และ มิโอะ นั้นกำลังตั้งชมรม K-ON ขึ้นมาใหม่ เนื่องจากรุ่นพี่ที่อยู่ชมรม K-ON ได้จบไปหมดแล้ว แต่ทว่าชมรมนี้กำลังจะถูกยุบโดยตามกฏของโรงเรียนถ้าไม่มีสมาชิกชมรมอย่างน้อย 4 คน ก่อนการลงทะเบียนชมรม ริทสึ และ มิโอะ สึมุกิ ชักชวนให้เข้าร่วมชมรม K-ON และเพื่อหาสมาชิกคนที่ 4 ทั้งสามคนจึงทำโปสเตอร์รับสมัครสมาชิก หลังจากนั้นยุยซึ่งได้เห็นโปสเตอร์เข้าเธอจึงตัดสินใจเข้าชมรมK-ON โดยที่รู้ว่าตัวเองเล่นเครื่องดนตรีไม่เป็นเลย เธอจึงไปที่ห้องชมรมเพื่อขอยกเลิก แต่ทั้งสามคนพยายามยื้อเพื่อให้ยุยเข้าชมรม โดยอ้างเหตุผลต่างๆนาๆเพื่อให้สามารถคงสถานภาพของชมรมได้... ติดตามการต่อสู้ด้วยดนตรีของเหล่าเด็กสาวมัธยมปลายจะไปถึงฝันหรือไม่...
